vampire summer

So there’s something about this chaotic Spring and its moody weather that recently has been putting me in the mood for what I’m calling “vampire summer.”

I don’t mean that I’m going to go around biting people this Summer (though it may be tempting at times) or that you need to stay out of the sunlight for 3 months (though I generally do!)

I use the term more of a way to enjoy the comfort of a cool darkness, even in Summer. To take time to enjoy some gothic classics, and maybe even some modern interpretations, of vampiric tales. Listen to some music in the moonlight. Hide inside watching a vampire movie. Wear the sheer mesh lace. Lean in and enjoy the little moments of beauty to be found.
